Warner/Chappell Music Names Jim Rondinelli, Senior Vice President, Digital Strategy and Business Development

New York, January 30, 2006 - Warner/Chappell Music, Inc., the music publishing arm of Warner Music Group Corp. (NYSE: WMG), today announced the appointment of Jim Rondinelli as Senior Vice President, Digital Strategy and Business Development. Based in New York, Rondinelli will report to Richard Blackstone, Chairman and CEO of Warner/Chappell Music.
At Warner/Chappell Music, Rondinelli's responsibilities will include establishing standards and practices to facilitate the creation of new, technology-based distribution channels for Warner/Chappell's assets and researching strategic investment opportunities for the company. He will actively search for new prospects, creating more active and cooperative relationships with record labels, handset manufacturers, mobile operators, digital music services and software developers. Rondinelli will also work closely with WMG's Digital Strategy and Business Development team in order to identify opportunities in new media and digital music.

Rondinelli previously was Portfolio Advisor at Avalon LLC. Prior to working at Avalon, Rondinelli was Senior Vice President of MP3.com, a pioneering Internet music company, where he identified new revenue opportunities for the company and launched initiatives to develop and license technological assets such as content database systems and email marketing systems to the music industry. Rondinelli has an extensive background in the music industry having produced, mixed and engineered Gold and Platinum-selling albums for artists including Wilco, Everclear, The Jayhawks and Matthew Sweet.
