Warner Music Group Names Maggie Miller, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer

NEW YORK, NY, Nov 15, 2005 -- Warner Music Group Corp. (NYSE: WMG) announced today the appointment of Maggie Miller as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO). Miller will be based in New York and will report to Michael D. Fleisher, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for WMG.

At WMG, Miller will be responsible for the company's global Information Technology (IT) function, including maximizing opportunities presented by new technology and company initiatives. In addition to developing online and mobile technology infrastructure and capabilities, Miller will oversee the expansion of WMG's numerous web assets and eCommerce sites.

"Maggie is an experienced business and IT leader with an impressive track record helping companies achieve a competitive advantage through IT-related change," said Fleisher. "Maggie will be instrumental in our efforts to optimize WMG's performance through a focused exploitation of technology in order to take full advantage of the digital music opportunity."

Miller, a veteran IT executive, has worked in a variety of industries, including travel, commercial insurance, technology and supermarket retailing. Previously, she was a Vice President and CIO for Dell EMEA and, most recently, held the CIO post at Sainsbury's supermarkets, one of Europe's largest food retailers with more than 700 stores and revenue of more than $20 billion.
