Warner Music Singapore to Come Under Su Kong Cheah's Supervision

Lachie Rutherford, President, Warner Music Asia-Pacific, today announced the appointment of Su Kong Cheah to the new position of Managing Director & CEO, Warner Music Singapore and Warner Music Malaysia, effective immediately.

Cheah, who is currently MD & CEO, Warner Music Malaysia, will now also oversee the operations of Warner Music Group's Singapore division, continuing to report to Lachie Rutherford. WM Singapore's William Low, International Marketing Manager, Lee Keng Lu, Finance Director, and Nancy Seah, Sales Manager, will all now report directly to Cheah.

"This appointment is a reflection of the vital role Su Kong has played in Warner Music for the past 10 years," commented Rutherford. "I am confident he will take on this additional challenge with his usual determination and strong leadership."

Cheah's previous roles with Warner Music comprise: Finance Director for WM Malaysia from 1994, Finance Director Asean from 1998, and MD & CEO, WM Malaysia, from 2002.
