Warner Music Latina and Dope House Records Join Forces to Bring you the Best in Latin Hip Hop
Warner Music Latina, Warner Music Group's leading U.S. Latin recording company, with repertoire such as Luis Miguel, Alejandro Sanz, Laura Pausini and Mana, announced today that it has signed a distribution and upstreaming agreement with Texas-based Dope House Records. Dope House Records is the home of Latin Hip Hop artists such as Baby Bash, Lucky Luciano, and Grammy nominated Juan Gotti, SPM.
In making the announcement, Iñigo Zabala, President, Warner Music Latina, said: "We are thrilled to partner with Dope House Records, to develop and exploit the newest Latin Hip Hop talent in this growing phase of the music industry. Dope House Records is the perfect complement that Warner Music Latina's A&R needs at this time, as Urban Latin Music has become one of our biggest priorities."
Arthur Coy, President of Dope House Records, said: "The merge made a lot of sense to me because of the enthusiasm Warner Music Latina has towards the growing future of Latin Hip Hop and the artists of Dope House Records."
Under the agreement, Warner Music Latina will provide distribution and some marketing services to Dope House Records, and will have the opportunity to upstream some of their artists. Juan Gotti will be the first Latina/ Dope House artist, to be released in April this year.
