WEA Corp. Names Allan Golden Vice President, Video Sales

NEW YORK, January 27, 2006 - WEA Corp., Warner Music Group Corp.'s (NYSE: WMG) U.S. sales and retail marketing company, today announced Allan Golden has joined the company as Vice President, Video Sales. Golden will be based in New York and report to Todd Van Gorp, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing.
At WEA Corp., Golden's responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day operations of the company's video sales efforts to ensure maximum coverage and sales for WEA-distributed video products. Golden will also focus on interacting with WMG labels and WEA Corp.'s field sales and marketing personnel. Golden will be responsible for growing WEA Corp.'s video business by maximizing current efforts, attracting new labels and acquiring new product lines.
"With more than 25 years in the industry, Allan brings with him the right combination of experience in the music and video businesses," said Van Gorp. "Allan's passion for music and proven track record in the video business will add to our efforts in creating a strong portfolio of content for our video business. Allan is the ideal executive to head WEA's Video Sales efforts."

Golden joined WEA Corp. from Proficio, a consulting enterprise he started in 2001 that specializes in independent film and music-related filmed entertainment. Prior to that, from 1998 until 2001, Golden served as Head of Video distribution for Ryko Distribution and Palm Pictures. Golden was also Vice President of Sales at PolyGram Video from 1990 until 1998.
