Warner/Chappell Music Names Nancy Taylor, Senior Vice President, Office of the Chairman

New York, January 26, 2006 - Warner/Chappell Music, Inc., the music publishing arm of Warner Music Group Corp. (NYSE: WMG), today announced the appointment of Nancy Taylor as Senior Vice President, Office of the Chairman. Based in New York, Taylor will report to Richard Blackstone, Chairman and CEO of Warner/Chappell Music.

In her new capacity, Taylor will work closely with Blackstone on a broad range of issues. In addition, she will be responsible for pursuing new business opportunities, executing directives and coordinating company initiatives originating from the Chairman's office. She will work on identifying and facilitating synergies with WMG's labels and corporate divisions. Taylor will also help to establish and maintain Warner/Chappell's relationships with songwriters, their representatives, business partners, and other industry professionals.

In announcing the appointment, Blackstone said, "As we position Warner/Chappell as a leading music publisher in the digital age, Nancy's extensive experience in multiple facets of both the recorded music and music publishing industry will make her a key member of the senior management team. I look forward to working closely with her."

Prior to joining Warner/Chappell Music, Taylor worked for Sony/BMG Music Entertainment, holding several positions at Arista Records, including Vice President and Deputy Counsel, Business & Legal Affairs. Before moving to New York to join Arista, she enjoyed a successful private practice in Los Angeles rendering legal, marketing and music supervision services. Taylor also worked as Vice President, Black Music and before that as Director, Business & Legal Affairs at MCA Records. Prior to joining the music industry, Taylor worked as a Litigation Associate at Kaye, Scholar, Fierman, Hays & Handler in Los Angeles and Hogan & Hartson in Washington, D.C. Following law school, Taylor served as a clerk for the Honorable Warren J. Ferguson of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Taylor earned a B.A. degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and a J.D. from the Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley where she was an editor on the California Law Review.
