James Steven is Executive Vice President & Chief Communications Officer for Warner Music Group. He is responsible for WMG’s worldwide communications and corporate marketing functions, including external and internal communications, investor relations, social responsibility, and special events. He also oversees the interaction and coordination of the communications functions of WMG’s operating companies.

James joined WMG in 2007 as part of the company's international communications team based in London. He relocated to New York in 2012, becoming Senior Vice President, Communications & Marketing. Prior to WMG, James held various roles at public relations and marketing agencies, including Cow PR and Consolidated PR, working with clients in the film, TV, technology, retail, beverages, and automobile industries.
