Stu Bergen

CEO, International and Global Commercial Services Warner Music Group

Stu Bergen is Warner Music Group’s CEO, International and Global Commercial Services, a post he has held since 2013. He is responsible for WMG’s global Recorded Music business outside of the US and UK markets. In addition, he oversees WEA, the company’s global distribution and artists & label services arm, as well as Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA), which provides worldwide services to independent labels and artists. Stu, who joined WMG in 2006, was previously Executive Vice President, International & Head of Global Marketing.

Prior to WMG, Stu held posts at several major record labels, including serving as EVP of Rock Music for Columbia Records, EVP of Island Records, and VP of Promotion for Epic Records. He began his music industry career in 1988 at TVT Records, following which he became Director Promotion at Relativity Records. Stu holds a BA degree from Princeton University.
